This session covers the (DOUBLE) KNEE STRIKE TO THE GROIN.
Follow these easy steps:
At a very close range (intimate space), step (unless already forward) with one foot close to your opponent’s leg.
Power your back foot thigh forward in a straight line directly towards your target’s groin, without lifting the foot (almost scraping toes just above the floor by lifting your heel).
Drive the thigh (not the knee itself) explosively into the groin using your hip, connecting with the groin with your lower to mid quad area. The knee cap should be below the groin.
As you connect, ‘dig’ the quad into the groin, then quickly recoil the leg back into a balanced position, on the same line as your other foot. Breathe out as you strike. Repeat 1-4 to double up.
The thigh is used as the striking surface as it’s a bigger striking area (less chance to miss by aiming the (smaller) knee cap only against a small target).
