Scenario: Deployed as a very close range in-fight solution, this simple and devastating action is designed to strike a potential fight-ending strike to the face or neck of the aggressor.

HOW TO DELIVER A CLOSEC RANGE ELBOW STRIKE.


  1. Keep hands up and in front of your face to maintain a shield.

  2. To strike, send your forearm aggressively upwards and forward, then diagonally downwards (to move over the shoulder of the opponent)

  3. Hit with the outside part of the forearm below the elbow (but not aim with the elbow itself) against the opponent’s jawline, allowing for a margin of error upwards (to the face) or downwards (to the neck). Aim the elbow to reach the line of the ear to go deep with your strike.

  4. The other hand remain in front of you to protect your face or stay ready to strike if necessary.

  5. Recoil the striking arm immediately to the starting position upon impact.
