MASTERCLASS PRO | DOUBLE STRAIGHT OPEN PALM HAND STRIKE • GROIN KICK • ELBOW STRIKE TO THE NECK

Updated: Jul 22, 2021

MASTERCLASS PRO is a brand new feature which gives you a brief insight into highly effective and natural striking combinations used in self defence.

Scenario: Facing an aggressor with a need to continue striking to neutralise threat as immediate extraction or exit isn’t available.

DOUBLE STRAIGHT OPEN PALM HAND STRIKE

- With hands up and in front of your face, send first open palm aimed at least around a foot behind the opponent’s nose by moving shoulder forward with a low elbow. Aim to recoil at least as fast as your strike.

- As you recoil, send the other hand forward in the same fashion. Exhale once through the double strike.

- As you purposely move the opponent’s head and body backwards by the extended strike - opening their legs up as they try to regain balance - and you lose balance forward, aim to land flat with the foot matching the first hand strike. Bring the other foot with you.

KICK TO THE GROIN

- With the back leg, continue the motion with the leg towards the now-open groin like you aim to slice the opponent in half from below with a football volley kick, connecting with the lower to mid part of your shin (not the ball of the foot or the instep).

- Keep the kicking leg forward as you prepare to land.

ELBOW TO THE NECK

- With the forward momentum of the kick, as you land after the groin kick, strike with the matching elbow (actually upper part of outside forearm) diagonally downwards targeting the side of the neck of the opponent.

- Keep the other hand in the same position it recoiled back to, in front of your own face.

Continue with more strikes as needed or check the area around you and escape.
